Double Feature tour
The show that stole hearts at the 2022 Melbourne International Comedy Festival is on the road n 2023. The show, based on his mums 1946 diary, has already completed stints at Adelaide Fringe, MICF & Perth Fringeworld where it took out a Weekly Comedy Award. In May’June show heads to Northern NSW, Brisbane & Darwin ahead of a Regional Arts Victoria tour later in the year. Weird School
Damian’s first junior fiction book, Weird School [Penguin Random], has just been shortlisted for the prestigious Russell Prize for Humour Writing for Young People. Created by the State Library of NSW, the award winners will be announced on May 11th of 702ABC Sydney. Weird School is a book of short stories based in Wally Park Primary School, the weirdest school in Australia. A former teacher himself, Damian knows schools inside out.
