A chance finding of a diary in an op shop takes renowned stand-up and character comedian, Damian Callinan, on an exploration of the ANZAC legend. Combining detailed research, hilarious but believable characterisations, black humour, absurdity and deft writing to swing the mood of the story from rollicking farce to aching pathos in a heart beat.

The Lost WW1 Diary was selected for the VCE Drama and Theatre Studies Playlist in 2017. Due to the current restrictions on in-classroom teaching, we have made the full filmed version available to stream for this purpose.
