Damian has been doing poorly paid work for ABC radio since early in his career. He has hosted and been a regular guest on 774ABC Melbourne, 602ABC Sydney, JJJ and Radio National. He is best known to Victorian ABC audiences where he has confused listeners with characters based on a news item of the moment. He began this tradition on 774ABC Melbourne Evenings with Lindy Burns and it has continued on to The Friday Revue with Brian Nankervis & Jacinta Parsons. Over the years, listeners regularly call or text in accusing Damian of being anyone who sounds slightly dubious.
